Sharebig is an interesting hosting service. It's free. It allows you to upload files with a filesize limit of 1.5GB.

On the key features column, it says:

Minimum 60 days no expire. (No file has expired so far unless it reported as illegal)

1.5GB without expiry restriction. Sounds good for us to host media / video files.
